髪の毛を整える「くし」という道具や、髪に飾る「かんざし」に感謝する行事が、京都市の神社でありました。
日本中から、古くなったくしやかんざしが集まりました。そして、神社に来た人たちが、くしなどに感謝のお祈りをしました。
そのあと、昔から今までのいろいろな髪の形を紹介するショーがありました。
古い時代は草などを髪に巻いていました。江戸時代になると、くしやかんざしで飾って、とてもきれいな形になりました。
見に来た人たちは、写真を撮って楽しんでいました。
