奈良県大和郡山市は金魚をたくさん育てています。23日、「金魚すくい」の大会がありました。
金魚すくいは、水の中にいる金魚をすくってつかまえる遊びです。丸い紙を貼った道具を使います。
この大会は、たくさんの人に大和郡山市が「金魚のまち」だと知ってもらうために始まりました。30年ぐらい続いています。
今年は日本や外国から2000人ぐらい集まりました。3分でどれだけたくさんの金魚をすくうことができるかを競争しました。
奈良市から来たスウェーデン人の男性は「去年よりもたくさん金魚をすくうことができて楽しかったです」と話していました。
