8日、町の人と観光客が、木を切って競争するイベントがありました。
太さ20cmから30cmぐらいの木を、2人のチームで切ります。いちばん早く切ることができたチームが勝ちです。40秒ぐらいで切るチームもあって、会場の人は喜んで見ていました。
広島県から来た男性は「大変でしたが、とても楽しかったです。また来年もやりたいです」と話していました。
