From January to November this year, more than 39 million foreign people came to travel to Japan, the highest number ever. Among these, the number of people who came from China during the single month of November was about 560,000. According to the Japan National Tourism Organization, recently this had been increasing by more than 10% compared to the previous year. However, in November it increased by only 3%. This seems to be because the Chinese government, in mid-November, called on people to stop going to Japan. In a normal year, during the Chinese holiday “Spring Festival”, many people come to Japan from China. Travel companies are paying attention to whether Chinese people will come to Japan during the February Spring Festival.
