The Lost Pendant - 失くしたペンダント

火曜日の朝。ミカが言いました。「ユミ、このペンダントを持っていてください。体育があるから。」「うん、わかった。」ユミはペンダントをかばんに入れました。

Tuesday morning. Mika said. "Yumi, please hold this pendant for me. Because we have PE." "Yeah, I understand." Yumi put the pendant in her bag.

体育の授業の後、ユミはかばんを見ました。「あれ？ペンダントがない！」ユミは教室を探しました。体育館も探しました。でも、ペンダントはありませんでした。

After P.E class, Yumi looked at her bag. “Huh? My pendant is gone!” Yumi searched the classroom. She also searched the gym. But, the pendant was not there.

「ミカ、ごめん。ペンダントを失くしました」ミカは泣いています。「あれは、おばあちゃんのペンダント…」ユミも泣きたいです。二人は学校の中を探しました。でも、見つかりませんでした。

“Mika, I’m sorry. I lost the pendant.” Mika is crying. “That was my grandmother’s pendant…” Yumi also wants to cry. The two of them searched inside the school. But, they couldn’t find it.

ユミは家に帰りました。晩ごはんを食べました。でも、おいしくありませんでした。ユミはすぐ寝ました。次の朝、「ユミ、起きて！火曜日よ」「え？また火曜日？」

Yumi went home. She ate dinner. But, it wasn’t delicious. Yumi went to bed right away. The next morning, “Yumi, wake up! It’s Tuesday.” “Huh? Tuesday again?”

ミカが来ました。「ユミ、体育の授業の間、このペンダントを持ってください」「待って、ミカ。これは大切だから、自分で持っててください。」ミカは笑いました。「ありがとう、ユミ」今日は、いい火曜日です。

Mika came. “Yumi, please hold this pendant during P.E. class.” “Wait, Mika. It’s important, so please keep it yourself.” Mika smiled. “Thank you, Yumi” today is a good Tuesday.
