三重県みえけんにある伊勢神宮いせじんぐうは、神様かみにあげる米こめを育そだてています。
3日か、神社じんじゃの人ひとなど80人にんぐらいが田たんぼに集あつまって、稲刈いねかりを始はじめました。
はじめに、米こめがたくさんできたことを神かみさまに感謝かんしゃしました。そのあと、白しろい着物きものを着きた人ひとたちが田たんぼに入はいって、丁寧ていねいに稲いねを刈かりました。
稲刈いねかりは1か月げつぐらい続つづきます。
この田たんぼで取とれた米こめは、伊勢神宮いせじんぐうのいろいろな行事ぎょうじで使つかいます。
