今年7月、熊本県で大きい地震がありました。九州新幹線は、線路などが壊れて運転ができなくなりました。JR九州は、直し終わった所から、運転を始めていました。
地震から52日が過ぎた18日、熊本駅と新水俣駅の間で工事が終わって、全部の場所で運転ができるようになりました。
駅にいた女性は「新幹線が動いていない間は、親戚に会いに行くことができませんでした。運転が始まって、とても嬉しいです」と話していました。
