山口県下関市で9月から、ふぐをとる漁が始まりました。
下関市の南風泊市場で、ふぐをとる船の出発をお祝いする式がありました。
山口県にある漁の団体の会長が「今年は、漁に行く所がふぐが好きな海の温度に近いので、たくさんとってほしいです」とあいさつしました。
漁に行く船は、2000ぐらいの子どものふぐを積んで港を出ました。ふぐを海の中で大きくするためです。
とれたふぐの「競り」は、今月終わりごろに行う予定です。
