21日、国会で、新しい総理大臣を選ぶ選挙がありました。そして、自民党の高市早苗さんが選ばれました。日本で初めての女性の総理大臣です。
自民党や日本維新の会などが、高市さんを選ぶことに賛成しました。自民党と日本維新の会は、協力して一緒に政治を行います。
高市さんは21日の夕方、国の仕事をする18人の大臣を決めました。このあと、どのような政治をするつもりか話す予定です。
