今年7月には、ロサンゼルスのハリウッド・ボウルで、3日続けて指揮をしました。
たくさんのチケットが売れました。どちらの会場も、続けて開いたクラシック音楽のコンサートで今まででいちばん多い記録でした。
今月は、ニューヨークのラジオシティ・ミュージックホールで7日続けて指揮をしました。
この会場で7日続けるのは、クラシック音楽の作曲家では、いちばん長い記録です。
久石さんは「オーケストラの音楽を聴く人がもっと増えるとうれしいです」と話しています。
