ユネスコは26日、奈良県にある遺跡を、世界文化遺産にすると決めました。
「飛鳥・藤原の宮都」という、19の遺跡です。飛鳥時代に使われていました。飛鳥時代は、今から1400年ぐらい前から1300年ぐらい前まで続きました。
世界遺産になる「飛鳥宮跡」は、天皇が住んでいたと言われています。
そして、「高松塚古墳」は、飛鳥時代の墓です。古墳の壁にきれいな色で絵がかいてありました。
奈良県の知事は「この遺跡を守って、将来の人たちに渡すことを約束します」と話しました。
